AI + ARCHITECTURE
Mihye An (Dr. sc. ETH Zurich) is a media theorist and practitioner whose current work theorizes what she calls “Literacies after AI.” Drawing on posthumanism, digital media theories, and philosophies of technology, she attends closely to the manifold transformations reshaping art and architecture, as well as to the ethical challenges posed by Large Language Models (LLMs). She examines how sociotechnical artifacts, such as neural image generators and AI chatbots, reconfigure human meaning-making practices.
안미혜는 미디어 이론가이자 실천가로서 “AI 이후의 리터러시”를 탐색하는 연구를 진행 중입니다. 포스트휴머니즘, 디지털 매체 이론, 기술철학에 기반해, 한편으로는 예술과 건축 영역의 다층적인 변화를 포착하고, 또 한편으로는 거대언어모델(LLM)이 가져온 윤리적 과제들에 주목하고 있습니다. 특히 AI 이미지 생성기나 챗봇과 같은 사회기술적 인공물들(sociotechnical artifacts)이 인간이 지식을 생산하고 소통하는 방식을 어떻게 재구성하는지 고찰합니다.

DIGITAL ARCHITECTONICS
과거 연구(2010~2020년)는 디지털 공간의 건축을 중심으로, AI를 비롯한 디지털 환경이 우리의 커뮤니케이션과 지식 생산을 어떻게 매개하는지(또는 그 본질적인 구조를 어떻게 형성하는지) 탐구했습니다.
Past research (2010-2020) focused on the architectonics of digital spaces: investigating how digital environments mediate (or “nature”) communication and knowledge production.
